“The room was very clean and tidy. On the booking it didn't say there breakfast, but when I got into the room there was a lovely breakfast bag. The car park was small but was adequate. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to stay there. Also the staff were very helpful ”

“On arrival radiator in room not working and still not working when we left after 3 nights . Day 2 we had electric heater provided. Continental breakfast was poor no fruit juices or fresh or fruit cocktail ( or tinned. No bread or toast machine butter or preserves . Small boxes of cereals and unappealing croissants were there. Although this is our personal opinion other guests were saying the same to us. The general Manager was very nice and needs a medal trying to get things sorted . The……

“I booked a garden room which I thought should look over the garden but it didn’t it look over a wall one way and a back yard the other right next to the laundry room all you could hear was the washing machines and dryer. It was a same was a garden room at all. The pool was very cold.”

“We really enjoyed our visit. The only thing we could say is the bed in room 103 could do with replacing, quite uncomfortable. The bathroom should be updated, along with a new bed would make the room excellent. The food we found to very good and overall we will definitely recommend The Black Boys hotel, thank you.”

“What a lovely stay, we stayed in the print room which was the perfect size, very homely and welcoming, overlooking the market square. Communication with The Dial House Team was via WhatsApp, they responded straight away and were always happy to help. The location is perfect being 30 minutes drive from some great sights. Breakfast was lovely, huge croissants. Honestly can’t fault anything. I’d definitely recommend and would love to stay again, I want to try one of the other rooms as they’re all……

“Lovely and convenient place to stay. Unfortunately we were in the top room where the ceilings/ beams are very low so room didn’t feel ‘deluxe’ as advertised. Also my husband banged his head in the night on the beams (he’s on 5’ 9’.”
