"Our first room wasn’t super clean and the door would not lock and we had to be transferred to another room at 10 PM at night. Staff had to be persuaded to offer us some compensation for this which ended up being a free breakfast. The location of this hotel was amazing and the free coffee in the lounge was awesome. The rooms are kind of dated."

"This was my first time staying at The Strand Palace and I loved it! The hotel is beautiful, clean and in a great location. Our room was excellent, the bed was comfy, the coffee machine was a nice touch and I love Rituals toiletries. The shutters on the windows are perfect to block out noise and light. Breakfast was delicious. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and courteous. Thank you"

"We had a room, 1329, with a view of Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye! Located immediately across Westminster Bridge in the south bank of the Thames, convenient to the Waterloo or Westminster Tube Stations, anywhere you wanted to go was minutes away! Room service 24/7 was wonderful and the menu had many choices. But we hit 4 different Pubs,a MUST, when we were there for the week! The staff was so helpful and polite. The people of London are so good at politeness! Each night, the Eye lights up differently giving us a beautiful light show each night!"
