“Exactly as expected. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again. Gabriela was extremely responsive to any questions and concerns. The area is close to many beaches by walking or a quick Uber ride. Amenities nearby and the vibe of surf side is truly a great experience.”

“Just wow - So much to say about this property! My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks. The view overlooking the marina is GORGEOUS and worth it for breakfast on the balcony every morning! Playa Flamingo is a short 5-10 min walk away and that beach is one of the nicest in Costa Rica! When we arrived, Carlos greeted us and drove us to get groceries to stock up the fridge. He was so welcoming and so kind! Gustavo was also invaluable during our stay; always offering a recommendation or a friendly……

“Air conditioning is really good, pool is good. Food at restaurant was good as well. Older property but they do their best to keep it clean and they have 24-7 security, and you have other eating options down the street but some location are closed on Sunday. It’s a very local town.”

“As others have posted, rooms are outdated and water pressure was low in the sink but shower was fine. Breakfast was just OK. Restaurant was just ok and agar as others have said the service was very slow even though there were very little guests. Sunset views were amazing. ”

“It was a nice budget place. Beds were pretty comfortable and AC worked well. Staff was very helpful when we needed to change rooms due to loud music being played directly behind our room. Pool was clean but a little overchlorinated. Hammocks were all wet and smelly. Need to be replaced or cleaned. We would probably come again though. Being right by the ocean and in walking distance from good eats was great You can even walk to Playa Con Chal or get a quad taxi.”

“Very quiet. It was as if we had the whole hotel to ourselves. No road noise as it is up in top of a mountain! Private Beach”

“The room was clean although there were ants crawling around. We were led to beleive the restaurant was open as the promotional info claimed they served cajun style food. When we arrived, it turnes out the restaurant hasnt even been built yet and there was also alot of construction going on daily.”

“Everything about Casa Chameleon was impeccable. The friendly staff, the complimentary daily breakfast and the clean rooms made the experience even more enjoyable. The property had immaculate views overlooking the ocean and the Catalinas town that is relatively new with condos shops and restaurants and a beautiful beach club. My next trip to Costa Rica, I I’ll be staying here. If you are looking for a relaxed, calm vacation vibe, Casa Chameleon is for you!”
