Foggy Bottom Cheap Hotels

"Nice little property in the heart of Fogey Bottom. Easy to walk to plenty of nice restaurants and Georgetown. Very friendly and professional staff. Would highly recommend. Excellent price and value."

"I have no complaints! The staff was really nice and welcoming. The room looked great. The bed was so comfortable. The smell in the hotel was amazing!!! The only thing I would say is the continental breakfast was 👎. I only was going for coffee anyway but there was very very limited selections for people who do actually take advantage of the breakfast. Other then that, I have no complaints!"

"We had small ants coming out of the bathroom mirror. They were all over the vanity when we got back to the room after touring DC. We called the front desk they sent maintenance up who stated it’s only ants. Like it wasn’t a big deal. They front staff was very accommodating they changed our room. The hotel was overall nice but you can tell it isn’t maintenanced properly"

"The hotel was not very clean overall. The beds are old and uncomfortable, leaving us in pain. When checking the mattress for bugs (no, I didn't find any), I was disappointed with how stained the mattresses were. The sofa in the room was filthy, as was the elevator (see photos). There was no working vent or window in the bathroom. The AC turns itself off in the middle of the night, making the room very still and too warm. The restaurant was supposed to be open until 11:00 a.m. At 10:15 a.m., it was closed. We only wanted coffee but were told they "closed early." No reason given. We were not told upon reservation there would be a large fee per night to park. Update: had to call and get the receipt mailed to me, even though it was promised at checkout. Staff who answered was extremely rude and annoyed with the simple request. The itemized bill showed tax on the parking plus a previously not disclosed credit card fee. Interesting because I was told cash wasn't even an option for payment (usually it isn't at hotels so I was not surprised). How can you charge someone extra to pay the only way you allow payments???? Will not return to or recommend this hotel. Our total bill was significantly more than when booked. And no, we used zero amenities. "
