“On arrival, gave our room key and shown entrance when pub shut how to use everything etc. Put in a room which was fine but had tape down across the floor to the bathroom. When we asked for towels, Tommy apologised and said we should not even be in that room, so he helped my husband move to a bigger and better room. Tommy could not do enough for us. Breakfast has lots of choices. You just have to ask as there's no menu. Again Tommy brilliant with service and prompt delivery. A very happy chap. Id……

“Lovely Hotel in a great location. The views are stunning, the hotel is located directly on the beach. Our signature room was amazing, very clean, large bathroom, water bottles replaced every day and every amenity necessary. Restaurant was fabulous, with a great , varied menu. Very friendly staff, and a well kept, clean beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel.”

“Had a lovely night away. Room was clean and nice to have a fridge with fresh milk for coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. Outside areas are great for relaxing and nice to have an outside pool. In a quiet area but within walking distance to the beach, train station and town. Great hosts. Would definitely recommend. “We could not stay at This property . It was poor condition and the room we booked was not provided. It was hot , no ac and not even a fan was provided . The bed was shocking , The outdoor pool was closed and overgrown and mouldy . My wife has poor knees and could not have used the shower over bath. This hotel is a 2-3 star . We had staff revving motorcycles under our window and talked loudly.”

“Fantastic location overlooking the harbor. Communications were excellent and quick. Parking was quite easy. Our room was small, but that's normal in the UK. Breakfast was delicious. So many nice places to eat in Brixham. We had dinner at La Petite Maison and it was excellent.”

Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off. But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.”
