"Just had a 2 night stay at Ascot House with our dog Sid. I can’t praise it enough for cleanliness, breakfast, room size and decor with a fabulous bathroom. The staff at breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful (I have Coeliac disease which they catered for very well). Owner was very welcoming and even came to personally say goodbye. The house was beautiful and very elegant."

"Cute little B&B located just a few mins from the train station and about 15 min walk into the city centre. The room we were in was at the very top. Note, lots of stairs and to get to room 12 is a small awkward staircase but all good for us. "Very modernized and updated, which makes the experience more enjoyable. Clean, relatively quiet for a center city hotel, spacious room, nice bathroom. They provide a fan in the room if you like having white noise when you sleep. No AC though they have windows that crack open. Only negative was the fire alarm went off for about a minute but went off as we were scrambling to leave the room. Asked front desk about it and his only answer was “we cannot disclose”. Ok well that sounds like a cover-up of something. Overall a great place to stay. "
