“Friendly helpful staff member on reception checked me in and she explained everything parking breakfast local amenities etc. I stayed in room 20 in the annex which was comfortable clean & quiet ( even tho it over looked the pub courtyard) the bathroom soap dishes & toilet seat needed replacing but that was my only gripe 😁… on the whole a lovely hotel in the centre of chertsey with attentive staff and a pleasant atmosphere… I did not eat there due to working late so can’t comment on the food ”

“Very slow service - or understaffed. Had to go several time to the bar during dinner to ask for something. But they did not forget to put a 12% service charge on the bill. I'm happy with that as long as the service is there but not if the service is that slow. Nice room but a very dirty shower. The corners of the sliding door were disgusting. The room was very nice, the bed very comfortable. Unfortunately the people above our room were very loud but I guess that can happen in such an old……

“Wonderful hotel; excellent atmosphere. Homely rooms; very comfortable. If I was going to make any kind of criticism, it would be a tiny one & it's something I've found at many hotels - the duvet covers are often larger than the duvets, so when the duvet is laid on the bed there is an untidy gathering & creasing of the underside of the duvet cover. It's particularly uncomfortable & irritating when you get into bed & stretch your legs out. Many times I've stripped the duvet off, straightened the……
