Customer beware. This hotel double books their rooms to guarantee their sales and tries to provide other rooms to customer saying it’s an upgrade.
I booked a suite room at this hotel 2 weeks ago online. When I arrived at the hotel today, I was offered an upgrade - apparently to a bigger room - but I refused it after taking a look at the new room because it was uglier and did not have a private balcony as I wanted. So I came back down to the lobby to ask for the room I initially booked for, but guess what the room wasn’t available from the beginning because someone else has taken it already.
The hotel repeatedly asked me if I could stay in the room they’re offering just for tonight following me outside and stuff but I was so annoyed I couldn’t bear to listen to it.
Now it’s almost 7pm I’m looking for a new hotel for myself for tonight. This has totally ruined the first day of my business trip as well as my meetings scheduled for tonight.
Probably the worst hotel experience in my 40 years of life.
