「The accommodation was spotlessly clean. Rooms were well-appointed with fabulous bathroom and quality toiletries. Tea pigs tea and Tan y Castell Welshcakes were a cut above, as well as Ty Nant bottled water. The mattress and pillows were lovely quality. Rooms had minimalist furniture creating uncluttered calming space. The full Welsh breakfast was impressive, cooked to order. Unlimited juices, cereal and toast. Friendly, efficient staff. 「A lovely historic building with comfy and clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff, and great food (we are vegetarians and found the food options to be quite unique/interesting and good quality). We were also given a later checkout time due to travel connections, which was hugely appreciated. 」

「This is a very nice hotel and the rooms are spacious. We are satisfied with this comfortable stay experience. But I think a minor thing may need to be improved. The temperature of bath/shower is not very steady, and it dropped down after several minutes. Besides, the water from tape also took several minutes to become warm. Since we visited in April and it is still a bit cold, when I washed my hands I felt a bit freezing. It would be better to access hot water more easily.」

「We stayed in one of the balcony rooms and the room was legit the best room we have stayed in the UK. The bed was a dream, super duper huge and the view from the balcony was magnificent. Their breakfast spread was delicious, the only downside of the stay were the cocktails from the Vale bar, I think they could do better with that. Apart from that, it was a 5/5.」

「Unfortunately when we entered our room, water was dripping through the ceiling, a pipe had broken, we immediately reported it to the staff who quickly and efficiently moved us to an alternative room which was perfect.
