Albufeira Herdade dos Salgados Golf Hotels

"A great stay at this very modern apartment complex 👍 Booked a 6 night break over the Xmas period at good price via Expedia. Flamingos salgados is in a quiet area in between the Albufeira Marina and Amerco de pera (Galé /Gui area) so a car is ideally required unless you want to use Uber or Taxis to get around. The beach isn't far from the complex but due to the road designs and lack of pathways it's around a 2.5k walk or drive to reach. This complex was only built in 2024/25 and to a high standard. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with fully fitted kitchen, microwave, kettle, toaster, 4 ring induction hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine x2 (Espresso and filter drip) plus a good selection of plates, cups, glasses and cutlery. There is a large balcony accessed from living area and bedroom that gets the sun all day from around 11am to sunset. Reception spoke good English and where very welcoming plus they accommodated our early check in request. They also gave us a small sweet pastry present on Xmas day so this was appreciated. A couple of things to note. Underground parking is available at a charge (€5 I think), but free parking is available outside on street. You will need to bring your own washing up liquid , kitchen towels, Tea cloths, coffee pods to avoid the frustration others have noted on some reviews. "The property as well as the whole hotel was very clean, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, self check in after hours was easily facilitated and then we were asked to check in and provide our details the next morning. The pools were clean as well as the toilets next to it. The little pool was great for the little one, the bigger pool big enough for adults or older children. The apartment had plenty of space, There was an outside area at the front in back which means you can sit in the sun or shade any time of the day. We had a ground floor apartment and some noise like moving chairs could be heard from upstairs. The beds were comfortable on the hard side and bedding and pillows soft. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, clean spacious apartment within easy drive of the town and the beaches"
