“Had an amazing time with my family making memories to last a lifetime. I grew up most of my life coming up to the area and my parents had lived near the location. My girls enjoyed kayaking everyday, bon fire 🔥, hearing the elk bugle, fishing in the river, Ocqueoc falls, and making big dinners. The game room is a great space too. My girls want to come back every year.”

“This property is as described and shown in photos. It is small, we had awesome sleep as the bed is comfortable. It is accurately described and depicted in photos and is what we expected. Outside mosquitoes are prevalent but there is screen in porch. It was quiet and we slept well for our 1 night stay.”

“This is a beautiful, classic, log home in darling Walloon Village! The owners were so easy to communicate with and very responsive. The cabin is so well appointed I can’t say it enough, from the clean and perfectly sized hot tub to cozy beds and well appointed kitchen! I Love to cook and use kitchens when I rent VRBO‘s and this one has it all, ice cream scooper, every knife and pot and pan you could imagine. There is also a washer and dryer which came in handy and had a nice folding table, which……

“Not a complaint but to let you know the front left burner on the stove is very slow in heating up. Also you have an outlet in the living room without a cover on it. Overall we enjoyed the stay, even went kayaking in the rain when we got there. Also checked out the falls you mentioned in your guide and checked out the local eating establishments.”

“The cabins are pretty close together, and the water is only about 5 feet away when exiting out of cabin 6s back porch. Cabin 6s bathroom is pretty small, and hard to walk through. The whole bathroom is cramped including the toilet area. The walk in shower is really out of place and the only light in the bathroom is right above the shower stall. The steam from my shower made the light flicker, which I got a little freaked out by it. The cabin overall could use a lot small repairs and updates.……

“We had the most amazing stay at Hidden Acres! The accommodations were impeccably clean, very comfortable beds and linens with a well equipped kitchen. The furniture was comfortable and cozy with a designer flare. A welcoming host that placed a handwritten note and goodie basket for us to find upon arrival. We will definitely be returning! Thank you Kyle for making our week long getaway perfectly appointed!”

“Cabin was stocked well in kitchen. It lacked comfortable seating though. It had an uncomfortable futon instead of a couch to sit on. Also had three small bar stools at the small table which were not big enough for my large husband.”

Good location - We were able to quickly get back and forth to Boyne Mountain. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our family and friends.”

“Just Kevin was perfect for us, only drawback was a very small bathroom. The location couldn't have been better, only 5 miles to Mackinaw City and the ferry to Mackinac Island,and very close to Cheboygan too. View of the lake was beautiful and we spent a lot of time sitting on the swing down by the water. House was very friendly and accommodating and a wealth of information and things to seem to in the area. Would definitely stay again but would out for one of the other rooms with a bigger……

“Very clean and cozy. I loved the Christmas lights still being up! Everything you could need was there. Close to Cheboygan andmy family's home. Very comfortable place to come after all of the things I needed to do with family.”

“This home was a wonderful place to gather with our family and some close friends for our Wedding Anniversary. The home is absolutely beautiful and has quality furnishings and amazing art !! We ended up with a brisk and rainy weekend but it was not spoiled because there is so much to do onsite (billiard pool, shuffle board, pinball games, card table and lots of games, hot tub and several tv’s for sport events). There is an awesome workout area complete with sauna and steam room. We felt like……

“My wife and sons and I stayed here and used it as a base of operations for day trips (Mackinac Island, St. Ignace, Cheboygan). It was great! Homey and comfortable. The fire pit was great, the host provided firewood (plus there’s tons to be gathered in the nearby woods). Kitchen was very nicely equipped for a northern Michigan cabin, we cooked breakfast and dinner every day. Lastly, it was nice watching the deer eat from the fruit trees on the other side of the road. Would recommend!”
