“Based on the pictures and ratings, I didn't realize that the structure was more like a motel and not a hotel. Meaning, you walked to your room from the outside. The walls were thin and you could hear conversations, noises from adjoining rooms. The grounds were beautiful and it was very clean, however. The AC was a noisy wall unit.
I can see where most would not have a problem with a motel type atmosphere, but for us, we prefer something different.”

“Beautiful house with all amenities needed! Well stocked kitchen for preparing meals. Bring a couple of baggies/Saran Wrap, if you’d like. So much space, ping pong table and the fire pit for s’mores were a hit! We had spotty WiFi for a bit, but the owners helped remedy the situation. Very comfortable bedding, too. Thanks for a great stay! ”

“Very flexible and accurate check in process. Well-kept grounds in nice quiet neighborhood convenient to HS, Petoskey, skiing. Plenty of parking. Unique entry in to basement bunk rooms/laundry/play room/ski storage area with immediate stairs up to main area. Main living area is great. Open concept. High quality appliances, plenty of lounge area in the living room. House comes with more amenities than most places as far as kitchen utensils and supplies, which was nice. Good wifi and streaming.……

“The host, Sarah, was wonderful about responding to my concerns. The driveway needed plowing and she sent her plow guy right away. The size of the place and location was perfect for our extended family. We were two grandparents and three daughters with their husbands and the grandchildren. There was a nice play area in the loft with toys and books that the kids enjoyed very much. We also brought sleds and the kiddos loved sledding on the property. The adults enjoyed the hot tub and the adult……
