“Cute cabin overlooking the hill country! We stayed two nights and were very comfortable. The area is quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the shower works well but the owners will tell you that hot water is limited. We had enough time to shower but you don't want to linger. The incinerator toilet is interesting but works just fine. ”

“First, know that it is really really far from town. It takes more than the time in the description to get to the ranch, so it isn’t convenient to actually doing things in town… and by the number of hit deer on the road- I wouldn’t want to drive it at night. That said, once you get there, it is a true Texas ranch experience. Cows, deer, wild turkey… big porch and just fine accommodations. The hot-tub is huge and fantastic- and you can see all of the stars!!! Be warned, though- the pictures show……

“We were on our way to a wedding on the weekend in Granbury and decided to stop in Fredericksburg for two nights. This is our fourth stay in Fredericksburg and 10th in the hill country and this was one of our favorite accommodations. The kitchen and living areas were quite large for the studio style set up ( the bedroom is not completely separate). The kitchen was also well equipped which isn’t always the case. And the hot tub was truly private inside a fenced area just off the kitchen. It……
