「I had a lovely stay! Cliff was a wonderful host and the breakfasts were very tasty. I was visiting Southport solo to see where my father was born. It's a cute town and this lodging is highly recommended.」

「We checked in on the 21/7/26 at 17:00 for an over night stay on my daughter’s birthday,we also had my granddaughter age 10 with us. The man behind reception was rude and dismissive he hurriedly pushed a piece of paper towards me barking write yourhome address and sign. He pushed a door key card at me and snapped third floor. I didn’t catch the room number he said so I asked again which room number please? he wrote 317. We called for the lift when it came it smelled awful and there were buttons...

「Location of property worked well for purpose. Staff were good. Rooms very warm, unlike the shower, stayed 3 nights, only on one occasion was the water hot, guessing the staff knew of this, when we mentioned at check out. Greene King pub next door, ok for a pint and pub food. Would recommend "Ye Olde Hob Inn" for a drink, great atmosphere and even better hosts.」

「Good amenities and grounds. Hotel is really showing its age, especially the rooms. Mine was very dark with a tiny bathroom. Lots of little imperfections and stains on the carpet. Definitely not worth the money I paid, £115 + for the night, solo traveller.」
