"The property was just what we needed for a long weekend with our family. Location was close to fun activities, shopping and food. I would recommend updating outside pictures of the property. The bushes were overtaking the access to the creek. I would recommend telling people to bring their own outdoor chairs to use at the fire pit. "

"Beautiful, secluded location. House is perfectly equipped with anything you need for a great trip, especially with kids! Close to town & more than enough entertainment and space for everyone on the property. The quick visit from the horses next door was a really awesome surprise! Didn’t want to leave and would absolutely stay again. "
"The property is in a quiet location close to New River State Park at Elk Shoals. I enjoyed rocking on the porch and listening to the river below! The birds were visiting the yard and singing beautiful songs. The house is very comfortable and relaxing. The decor is heartwarming! It's a short drive to West Jefferson where we enjoy eating at Hillbilly Grill and Smokey Mountain Barbecue. We always make a stop at Ashe County Cheese Factory. We found different places to get ice cream every day! It was so peaceful and restful at the cabin! Can't wait to go back again! "

"Such a great space for a group of friends & family. There's a little river nearby that the kids loved exploring and we flew kites. There are plenty of rooms / space. The kitchen is designed for a large group with two dish washers. We had some small issues with a leak / roof, shower and propane tank but all of the issues were resolved swiftly and with good communication. "
