“The entire motel smells like garlic. We found mold in the bathroom. Smoke detector was covered with a plastic bag. Breakfast was the most basic I've ever seen and cereal was stale with apple juice watered down. They didn't even remove painters tape from the last paint job. Door lock was half coming off. Rooms smelled awful (we rented 3). I could go on.”

“Great option for Field of Dreams players! Nick was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The apartment was very clean with very comfortable beds that made for a great night’s sleep both nights. We were there for a baseball tournament in Dyersville and this was about a 20 minute drive away.”

“The property was great for our visit to Field of Dreams for a baseball tournament! Very spacious and clean apartment. The owner was communicative and responded quickly. We will definitely stay again!”

“The rooms we poorly set up (no towel hooks or racks in the bathroom, a mini ironing board was provided but there was not place to set it up with a plug. had to unplug the microwave to use the iron). I would not stay here again. Poor management, poor rooms, and very overpriced.”

“Great place!!”

“We were in town for a baseball tournament. Very close to the ball park, within 10 to 15 minutes of great food and shopping and the neighborhood is very quiet!”

“Clean cabin”

“Perfect location for cute Uptown Marion. We will definitely try to book next time we come to town.”

“Cozy spot to stay for a couple nights. House was very clean and comfortable. Yummy coffee provided! Host was proactive and gave clear instructions and easy check out process.”

“Beautiful house. We'll kept and very clean. Enjoyable seating and fore pit in backyard. Owner communicated quickly and answered any questions we had including local places to eat. Nice neighborhood. Plenty of parking. The inside had a lot of historical charm and quite lovely. Large kitchen. Rooms were all good sized. Skeeball and video games were fun too. Highly recommend.”

“What a great time! Our family enjoyed all the amenities that the property offered; foosball showdowns at least twice daily, music with a great ambience of the screened in porch, fire pit, grilling, coffee on the deck near the river, fishing nearby, friendly neighbor ducks and dogs. The cabins were easily accessible and very clean. Alex made sure we had everything we needed without even having to ask. And he made it known to reach out if we needed anything and was very quick at responding to……

“My family rented the property for a long weekend for siblings and spouses to gather. The property was exactly as described, very clean and well appointed. It was fun to read the history on this home and be able to enjoy the beautiful touches a home built during this period displayed. John, the host, was the perfect blend of being very responsive when I had a question, but giving us the space to enjoy the beautiful property. The grounds that the home sits on allowed our family to stretch out……
