“This was our favorite location yet in the Outer Banks. Situated a couple of blocks from the ocean and only a few blocks from the Currituck Lighthouse, this charming casita provided my husband and me with our favorite parts of the Outer Banks. The house itself was perfect for us with a large kitchen and family room area and two bedrooms and bathrooms — all new and beautifully furnished. It’s also pet friendly so we could bring our beloved golden retriever! We couldn’t have enjoyed our visit more!”

Bedrooms each has their own bathrooms, which we loved. The beds were all extremely comfortable, and rooms all had nice big windows. “Nice unit with plenty of space, right on the beach. All the staff we talked to were very responsive and friendly. We had an issue with the HVAC and they did their best to help. I did find it a bit frustrating how many different people i had to talk to about the checkin process. Felt like it could have been easier.”

“The property is nice and well maintained. Easy beach access. The condo was very nice, clean and offered everything that we needed as listed. The pool was nice, although the the hot tub was not open for use and we were told by staff that it’s open in the winter. Not sure why, and was disappointing. Not much staff around to ask questions and if you did find someone they evidently were only there to clean, test the pool water or maintenance. It would have been nice to have a restroom nearby the……

“The management company, particularly Barbara, was very helpful and prompt in replying to all questions. Five stars for this! The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 13; however, the house is in need of updating. The dryer went out during our stay but was repaired but all appliances need to be upgraded. Pressure washing is needed for the exterior as we were unable to use the outdoor furniture due to the bird droppings and spider webs. Carpet is also in need of replacement. Although……

“Full size bed bedroom no box spring support- just a mattress on springs.. when layed on, it is not level- Also, the floor board connecting the carpet and flooring broken in half. Needs to be repaired. Ceiling fan moves but has a loud noise that sounds like sharpening knives sound! Ceiling wired smoke detector is missing only wires hanging out of ceiling. Thermostat did not adjust. Could not adjust the temperature in the house because thermostat was not working. Carey replied and said he could……
