“Stayed here as my little girl played at the hive and we needed somewhere close by. Parked on the drive way right outside the door, keys were in a key safe and details were sent on the day how to get in the safe. The hallway as you enter is spotless, as was our room, tea, coffee, water and a fridge in the room. Very pleasant place to stay, paid £60 for a Wednesday night, knowing what i know now i think it's a bargain. Highly recommended. ”

“Persistent heavy cigarette smoke smell in the room for both nights which did not clear even after ventilating. We woke up with dry/sore throats. We reported the issue during the stay to staff member Rosalina, who acknowledged it and provided free parking as a goodwill gesture, but the problem remained unresolved. An alternative room offered could not accommodate 5 guests, so moving after settling in with children was not practical. There were also cleanliness issues (spiderwebs). The stay……

“This rental offers excellent value for money. The main reason I chose it was the secure parking. The hosts, who live in the adjoining main house, were incredibly hospitable, welcoming, and kind. This could be a safe short-term rental for solo female travelers. There’s also good public transport nearby. ”
