10/10 Excellent

"Stayed here regularly with work between 1985 and 1995. Ideally placed but, like many London hotels, was looking a bit jaded then. But it’s now looking much better. My ‘superior’ single was clean, well-appointed with tv, ironing board, walk-in shower and tea and coffee making facilities. And, surprisingly for a central London hotel, it was quiet too. An early morning walk around Covent Garden after my stay, and with the added bonus of sunshine."

"For the most part the place was nice and I'd most likely stay again. Though it was a little far from the city proper, the public transportation was very useful. There is the water ferry and the busses that can get you to the underground easily enough. There were 2 things that prevent me from giving all the stars. The internet and the elevator. From the lobby the internet worked perfectly, but from our room is spotty at best. I'd say we could connect for maybe 10 minutes before it going out. The only way to re-connect was to forget the connection and sign in again. It was very annoying. The other issue was the elevator for 'our' tower was down 3 or 4 times we tried to use it. There were other elevators close enough. 4/5 stars"
