「Sugar Mill was beyond my expectations. They have the friendliest staff and fantastic food. We were two couples who rented two King size bedrooms with ocean views. 「Clean with very nice staff」

「Great ocean view rooms with incredible decks on the water. Food was top notch for all meals and the beach is gorgeous with first class cabanas. Some negatives: the pool, gym and pickleball / tennis courts are across a small road. Not a huge deal but not ideal. Lots of mosquitos poolside so be careful. But the biggest negative is that the ocean is not swim-able due to huge rocks in the water. I saw zero people in the ocean over my 3 day stay. Zero! Maybe with some water shoes it could be done...

「The manager Ashur was most helpful and responsive. They responded to minor issues promptly. We loved the large space and stunning view. The bed was super comfy. The kitchen had plenty of equipment. 「It was a nice hotel for a taste of local culture. Although the place is dated, everything was clean. The check in/check out woman was very helpful and contacted a taxi for us anytime we needed one. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The downside is that you are not allowed early check in - we got in 5 minutes early but I wouldn't plan on that. She greeted us with a huge smile and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. She was especially helpful with local knowledge and gave amazing dinner recommendations! 」
