"Jackie is a fabulous hostess, she made sure our stay was unforgettable in a good way. Room was warm, clean and tidy, beds were very comfortable.. great to have the only twin room. Great shower, warm towels on heated rail. Breakfast was perfect. The Cedars Guest House is situated in a great central place, we parked our car and didn’t need to drive until leaving for home. We will definitely book again the next time we’re visiting Dunoon. Thank You "

"Family rooms could do with a bit of refurb and bathrooms defo need updating. Shower head black mould and water sprayed everywhere, so did not use shower and had to have a quick bath. Staff were really nice"

"We had a pretty good time. It was in a very central location which was nice. I do wish that the beds were a little bit more comfortable, and that there were better instructions when it comes to the shower and the heating. Over all it was very enjoyable. "

"Awful experience at this location. So bad we didn't even stay we found alternative accomodation rather than stay here. I'm entering the apartment was freezing cold, with no instructions left to sort this ourselves, and the smell of damp/mould and general smell of being unclean was overwhelming. After leaving having spent less than 20 minutes in the apartment the smell of it was stuck to our clothes.We did contact the "host" who gave instructions on how to turn on the heating but by the time they had done this we had already left. Please do not book it's awful. "

"Immaculately presented,very comfortable and welcoming house,with lovely secluded garden and garden furniture. Extremely well equipped with excellent ,detailed instructions for everything (including how to get to the house from the Ferry). Good views out over the Clyde from the upstairs bedrooms . A generous welcome pack of milk in fridge and a variety of snacks. Dunoon is well placed for exploration of the Cowal Peninsula,Isle of Bute ,etc. I would most certainly recommend this property. I have no complaints,but would suggest the addition of a full length mirror somewhere and some shelving in both bathrooms and the shower."
