“Hotel was centrally located in downtown Funchal. A five minute walk to the city centre. Room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the street. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a variety of hot and cold options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool deck on the rooftop was a great place to unwind at the end of the day. I would have preferred the pool bar to be open however it wasn’t and it was a very minor inconvenience to get the elevator down to the main bar on level 0. If you are……

“Mittelmäßiges Zimmer was sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist. Toilettenspülungen kaputt! Key kaputt und man hatte nur 1 Schlüssel . Dafür war die Lage ok . Klimaanlage war kaputt .”

The hotel is very old and outdated and the wifi does not work. We were able to check in late and the room was clean but I would not stay there again for that price.
