“Ein sehr schönes Haus, sauber und gepflegt. Alles da was man braucht, Grill, gute Küchenausstattung, großer Kühlschrank. Wer sich selbst bekochen will, muss allerdings alles, auch Salz und Pfeffer, vor Ort besorgen. Von allen Zimmern, Küche und Wohnbereich ein toller Blick auf das Meer. Die Autobahn ist zwar in Sichtweite, stört aber nicht wirklich. Die Lage ist zentral, 10 min bis zum Supermarkt und 20 min. bis in die Innenstadt von Funchal. Das Haus hat eine große Garage mit direktem Zugang……

“Hübsches Haus auf einem Bergkamm mit spektakulärer Aussicht. Die Gegend ist sehr schön. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben den Korb mit frischen Bio Eier und Bio Bananen sehr geschätzt:) Der Mietwagen sollte für diese Region unbedingt klein, aber mit genug Leistung sein.”

“This villa is just sublime! Beautiful villa, absolutely gorgeous location, well stocked kitchen, communication with Rui was excellent with very prompt responses. There was nothing at all to dislike. If you like privacy and seclusion, with fantastic views, then this is the villa for you.Short drive (15 mins) to a few supermarkets. Jardim do Mar is a village only a short drive away well worth going to see.Nothing negative to say at all about this villa, location, host, etc. Just superb!”

“My daughter, sister, and I spent a wonderful week in Madeira at Karen & Mike’s home in Funchal. Karen & Mike were responsive during booking, planning, and our stay. They reserved great taxi service - for Rafael to pick us up at airport and also do a day tour of part of island. He was friendly and energetic and shared his love of the island. Wonderful Mirela greeted us warmly upon arrival and walked us through the home and was always available to answer questions. You really have a wonderful team……

“This is an awesome place. Tons of room and spent half a day in the pool watching planes land at the airport. Glide path is right in front and level with the property but far enough out so little noise. The only drawback of the property is the two barking dogs next door. Took a while getting used to it and no recourse to ask the owners to quiet them. I have owned dogs my whole life so it’s easy to do but the neighbors just let them go. Small thing really but be prepared for it. Other than that……

“Casa Do Loureiro was spacious, very clean, and very well decorated. It was comfortable, and included a third floor outdoor balcony with a view of the Atlantic and surrounding neighborhood. There were a couple of bus stops within blocks of the apartment, making it relatively easy to make to downtown Funchal (a 20-minute ride).Beyond the property, the host (Clara, an artist) was outstanding... very considerate, responsive, and professional. We were all terribly impressed with her. ”
