「Lovely hotel, great facilities and best location, easy access to both Funchal town and the Lido area. Spotlessly clean and pool area beautiful. Staff super helpful, basic room and balcony very good. Would definitely stay again.」

「The hotel has a great location next to the Cathedral. Only problem is that it’s hard to get to with luggage, since cars & taxis can not get to the entrance. All the employees were helpful, talkative, and enjoyable. The free breakfast has a huge assortment of goodies and even hot items.. The one problem I do want to address is parking your car. When I reserved, it said parking available.. For some reason, I expected it nearby and free. The parking lot is a good 15 minutes walk from the hotel....

「Staff were lovely and the room was very big, clean and comfortable! As a solo traveller I would definitely stay here again!」

「The rooms were clean . The vie and location were excellent .」

「Lovely base with plenty of nice restaurants close by!」

「Fabulous hotel stay. Large room with very comfortable beds, house keeping excellent, breakfast very good with excellent hot and cold food choices. Amazing pool with various sunbathing areas and sufficient loungers. Good snack bar for lunches and drinks by pool. Good indoor pool with sauna and steam room. Walkable into old town, with supermarket, and good bars and restaurants in local vicinity.」

Charging guests extra for something as basic as a pool towel feels unreasonable and left a poor impression. We can’t comment on the breakfast itself, as we had to check out before 7 a.m. We did,...

「Room was not clean and smelly」

「Let's keep this place a secret. They were awesome.」

「This resort is in an excellent location for tourists. Half way between the airport and the major city of Funchal. The views are stunning. The staff friendly and very pleasant. The food choices were vast and delicious. We signed up for the all inclusive and it was well worth it. Lots of great excursions, hikes, adventures, dining and shopping.」

「The property was very clean, our room had a fantastic view, and the staff was very helpful. Funchal was walkable if you dont mind the hills and there were nice restaurants nearby.」
