“This is a beautiful, historic property! Keith, the owner, has done a fantastic job of renovating an 1891 school house into an amazing vacation rental. This place has everything you need to stay however long you want to; fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, nice shower with no trouble getting and keeping hot water, washer and dryer, microwave, deck, small grill...awesome! It was cloudy when we were there, but this would be a wonderful spot to enjoy the stars while sitting on the deck. We also……

“My wife, and I took a weekend to get away from our phones, grab the dog, and spend some time together in nature with our phones turned off. This was the perfect place for it. Secluded spot with helpful, friendly hosts; Kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals; fishing was great; paddleboat was awesome; homemade apple pecan bread was fantastic (as advertised in other reviews); pup had plenty of area to run. A much need weekend away! We will be back!”

“My family came to this property due to it's proximity to Crooked Creek and the ability to bring our 3 dogs with us. It was a great location that was remote, and a Dollar store down the street if you forget anything. Our only complaint was the beds. The mattresses are not comfortable at all. I would also say the master bed could be a queen just for more space. My husband and I tossed and turned all night, which is normal for us to some degree, but we couldn't get comfortable in the bed. “Very clean, quite, fully stocked kitchen, tons of towels, there is a creek to drive thru but there is a walk bridge to go over if youre not comfortable driving thru it. Loved getting coffee and sitting outside listening to the animals early morning.”
