“Golden palms is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is incredible - friendly, helpful and they go out of their way to make you comfortable and to keep the facilities clean. The breakfast has freshly made eggs, French toast, black beans and rice, plantains, potatoes, cereal and amazing fruit. I recommend getting an iced coffee, which is included with breakfast. “Charming hotel, very well kept and amazing helpful staff. Lovely quiet beach front nearby with a few decent dining options there. Quiet chill place to relax, mostly an adult hotel overall it seems and with some nice live entertainment on weekends. Close enough to Coco beach for more dining options and beach stuff plus a very decent grocery store. Was great as a low key home base for this trip and very easy to and from the airport.”

“A very beautiful and secluded resort just off of the Ocotal Beach area. A short drive from Playa Coco that includes beautiful black sand beaches. The villa was spacious and had lovely views of the ocean. If you have a car, it is an ideal stop as you can access other restaurants nearby, like father rooster, and others in coco. The restaurant at the hotel was also very tasty, and the staff was very friendly.”

The floors in the unit really needed to be cleaned and the keys/locks were a bit hard to use, those are my only complaints!”

“This Unit has a lot of potential. The layout is beautiful and efficient. It is well-built. The area is very safe and beautiful. The manager is very friendly and obliging. Stay here once the description states it has been updated. However, the Unit is outdated, and the kitchen was not cleaned up to par. The kitchen should be thoroughly cleaned every time before new guests arrive. For example, the kitchen had dirty flatware. Soap dispensers were dirty. We got a used sponge for starters. We……

“Nice Villa, close to pool, has everything you need for a great vacation. We wore shoes in the villa as the floors were dirty. Complex is very hilly and this villa sits up higher away from the beach with Great sunset views! There are shuttles to take you to the beach area. We did have visits from local cats, raccoons and a baby skunk.”
