“Decent accommodations for a night or two. Unfortunately we never met our host, but she was very accommodating of our slightly irregular schedule. No in room control of the temperature. Very limited toiletries and could not locate a hair dryer. Best to bring your own shampoo etc. Location is very handy for public transportation, and blessedly a bit away from the hubbub of old town. Parking is a problem. If you have a car expect to search for a space on the street. Also, the building sits on the……

“I arrived early because I hadn't read the small print that one couldn't check in until 5pm. I didn't feel welcome so I went away and sat in my car until it was 5pm. My room was freezing. The bathroom was too cold to contemplate having anything but a very short use of the loo. The furniture was creaky old as opposed to vintage chic. I was told not to close the curtains because it would make the room cold. I dont think it could have been any colder. The bed was comfortable. And the breakfast was……

“エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。”

The deer and sheep land behind the house in this magical Scottish valley is breathtaking. The food perfect. The bed comfortable. I wish we had spent way more days in this little paradise.
