"This is one of the best hotel stays I’ve had this summer and at a very competitive rate. It was very clean, the breakfast was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The fitness and pool areas are certainly my not new but they had nice features. The layout of both the hotel lobby and the room was great.
But the highlight for me was the service. The staff member at the desk politely greeted me by name both times that I saw him after checking in. I don’t think I’ve ever had that happen in any hotel. Terrific service.
I will absolutely look to stay here on future trips through the area. "
"Classic older and newly renovated hotel. Great staff and awesome lobby bar, right in the heart of Morgantown. Very reasonably priced, although the cost of a room pretty much triples, as does every other hotel in Morgantown, for WVU football games.

"The day I checked in, I had been having "One of Those Days". Check-in was so easy. I got my key card and went to my room. I couldn't get the door open - and thinking it was lock issue, I went to the front desk. I was told that the doors are heavy and sometimes needed an extra push. That did the trick. I love the rooms at this property- nice size, comfortable bed and pillows.
I went to Applebee's next door for dinner (also recommended). When I came back to my room, the door was stuck- I couldn't get in! Went to the front desk, and the night manager came up with me. The security latch on the door had accidently engaged when I had shut the door when I left for dinner. There was no way to get in! The night manager gave me the room next door and said maintenance would be there first thing in the morning to fix my original room.
I slept well (nice bed and pillows!), and the door was fixed by the time I ate breakfast (also very good!).
Gwen and her staff were so nice and helpful - and very apologetic (which they didn't need to be). I commend them all for the help they gave me. I stay at this hotel whenever I'm in Morgantown!"
