「Amazing properties. Very cozy, beds are comfortable, very clean and great location. We will come definitely come back and will recommend to our friends and family」

「The cottage was perfect.. so clean..and had everything we needed. We had a parking space next to cottage which was great. If ever up near Whitby again I would definitely stay here again..a little gem」

「Unfortunately i was highly dissapointed ..it was supposed to be a treat for my birthday from my daughter who gave me some monies to treat myself to something i might like ... I decided on Whitby and booked with expeadia ..Unfortunately a double deluxe room.. Garden view was reserved for me which i have proof that this was booked via email but last minute on the day of arrival I was told that i was going to go into Wainwright and that a host will be there on arrival before 9 pm .. We arrived...

「The property was very nice and is in a nice rural location but the toilet is not fit for purpose as stated on an older review. I am 6ft 3 and could not sit on the toilet facing forward due to the wall in front being too close. It was approximately a foot away from the wall when it should be double that.」

「Het enige wat ontbrak deze "Holiday" in deze super schattige Engelse cottage was Jude Law! If you know, you know...」

「I took my sister (and our dogs) away for her special birthday and Julie's cottage was just ideal. Not only for its rural location on a working farm but also for its being close to a couple of National Trust properties and Harrogate. We also had a delicious meal in The Roebuck in Otley. We loved the hot tub and the little touches such as milk in the fridge, eggs and little cakes. I can certainly recommend Old Calf Shed.」

「A lovely cottage in picturesque surroundings, it was an ideal stay for our son’s wedding at Bolton Castle. Anne the host, is approachable and friendly. I can highly recommend Castle View to anyone wanting to stay in the area.」

「Nice stay」

「We had a lovely stay at Lockton Cottage, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The welcome goodies were a great touch, and we really appreciated the tea, milk etc..after our long journey. We would definitely stay again.」

「The cottage was an authentic Yorkshire experience. It was quaint, clean and comfortable. In the middle of Hawes with easy access to public parking. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. May not suit people who have difficulty with stairs.」

「The house is in a beautiful, peaceful location and is immaculate inside with 3 very comfortable beds, everything we needed in the kitchen & a lovely bathroom. The owner Phil was very helpful both before we arrived and whilst we were there.」

「Overall the property was as described, but without being too negativen the main faults we found were as follows...Internet may as well not have been there, Spider webs in lots of locations, metal Beds contributed to lack of sleep, Foisty smell in bedrooms, especially the groung floor one, hence maybe the fly killer spray that overpowered you on entry, The plus sides were,,,,, Alpacas were a bonus, as were the free Milk and Eggs, we loved the rural setting and the quiet location. Would we stay...

「Lovely old house near the harbour with all you need for a comfortable stay. Bonus free parking space, under cover, close by in the next street.」

「When we arrived it was clear the cottage had not been cleaned. The previous occupants' dirty sheets and towels were piled up and there were no clean sheets or pillowcases for the bed. The kitchen was dirty and there was damp and peeling wallpaper. It was not possible to contact the owner straight away and after a couple of hours we were told the owner could not send a cleaner until the following day. Since there was nowhere clean to sleep we left and went home」

「This is a perfect place to rest and be away from people and noise. The view is beautiful, the hot tub is enjoyable, it is warm in the cottage and the kitchen is very well equipped.」

「Location was good in the centre with main shops, tourist places nearby. Kitchen although dated, well equipped and a good table to sit round.Lounge comfy and good seating.Shower fine but cubicle tiny ..inadequate .. being the only bathroom. Misnamed a fisherman's cottage -- in a back lane in town centre -- no views. Very difficult to access by car.Lane too narrow for our car to turn into .Had to send I person ahead on foot to get parking card.Main bedrooms up one flight of stairs from the ...

「What a lovely way to spend a few days around Filey! The grounds were perfect as we were a couple of minutes walk from the pub, pool and entertainment area. I couldn't find the passes for the swimming pool, and the owner replied to my message within about an hour, and was really helpful. There's a pretty little bowles area outside the back door, with a lovely seating area. The apartment itself is brilliant, TV with everything you need, really clean and comfortable beds, aswell as a very well...
