“Great little cottage with lovely views. It had everything we needed for a peaceful short break and is a great base location for lovely walks. The enclosed patio was a bonus for the dog to potter about.”

We had some lovely walks right from the door. We didn't have the best of weather, but came home relaxed , happy and rather muddy!! Thank you so much.”

“If you like old buildings, well maintained and fitted with a smart hotel stylish bathroom, excellent view over the dale, this is the one. It is in the hamlet of Newbiggin on a quiet road amongst other attractive cottages. Loads of space for 2, 4 would be fine but I think 6 adults would rather cosy in the lounge and with just one loo & bathroom, albeit a very smart one.”

Within a stones throw from the beach and a beautiful coastal walk into Whitby. We had an amazing 3 night stay and we would definately return. “This is a beautiful cottage, clearly an older building but nicely renovated and in great condition. Hot tub and jacuzzi bath are both very good, and the champagne on arrival was very welcome! The location is at the end of a long track, so the cottage is secluded and quiet making for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Importantly the bed is also very comfortable and supportive, which is not something than can be said for every holiday rental! It is easy to get to the coastal paths for walking, and……

“Easy to get to. Quite close to Scarborough and Filey. A lovely place to stay, and was lovely to take my dog too. Sue was a lovely lady and nothing was too much trouble.”

“We had a wonderful time staying at the lodge. We definitely felt like we were in a 5 star stay from the lovely Egyptian cotton bed linen to the generous welcome pack ! All bedrooms have an ensuite and Molton Brown toiletries. Bathrobes and lovely white fluffy towels. SMART TVs in each room as well means you can watch your fav TV if you’re desperate to catch up on something while you are away. The kitchen is very well equipped if you are cooking on your break however just over the garden wall is……

“Staithes is mine and my partner's favourite place in the UK. We have stayed in Staithes a few times now and I can honestly say I would recommend this cottage to anyone. The location is perfect with a bit of a sea view from the bedroom window. The cottage has a lovely cosy feel to it, beds are really comfy and has everything you need for a short/ long stay.
