“We were here for a wedding. Everything ran like clockwork and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. One word of warning, if you have mobility issues make sure you are on a floor serviced by a lift”

“Lovely hotel. Beautiful setting with an amazing view. The reviews we read before we stayed, said the staff were wonderful and friendly. Reviews often say this about hotels and we were just expecting the usual professional staff. However it must be said the staff were superb, stood out and had a major positive impact on our stay making it so enjoyable. The evening dinner very good. The breakfasts excellent. Definitely a place to stay.”

“We didn’t stay because there were 20 stone steps up to the apartment with open railings at the side and landing which we felt was unsafe for us and our dog. Also the fenced in area at ground level was gravel with lots of doors off and nooks and crannies where a dog might go in and be difficult to find The owner said when I emailed the next day said that they would have blocked off the railings if we had asked but we felt that going up and down these stone steps to take the dog out would have……

“We had a lovely stay with our granddaughters. Cowslip cottage was ideal for us. The girls loved having their private bathroom. Everything was spotless, beds comfy in fact couldn't have asked for more. The girls loved being with the animals and in the play area - we had to drag them off to go into Scarborough! So peaceful if all you need is a rest.”
