「One of the most expensive, and by far the ugliest rooms I’ve ever stayed in Virginia - and staff at both the front desk and Harry’s restaurant were just plain rude. Had asked for a room with a view for my birthday, but was given lower level room with broken blinds, cement wall and overgrown bush to look at for a “view.” Front desk guy said, “Oh you’re and EXP room.” ??? 「Very relaxing stay, perfect for a couple’s retreat. There are plenty of vineyards, hiking, and horseback riding if you’re looking for something to do. We just unwound and relaxed by the pool most of the time. There is a shady gazebo right next to the pool, perfect for reading or having drinks. The view is spectacular. The jacuzzi is very relaxing. Tons of delicious restaurants nearby. Maud is a very gracious and accommodating hostess. We will definitely be back!」
