“Hotel is old but well-maintained and clean. Some things like the towels and comforters are showing their age, but everything was VERY clean. Great price for the location and nice to be able to support a local business. Came for birdwatching and then the eclipse. Great location for bird watching. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“Simple and safe place to stay. Nothing fancy but it is a nice basic room with exactly what you need as a home away from home. ”

“The tub had HORRIBLE rust stains, the safety bar at the top of the door was missing a piece, the towels had stains, and the doorframe to the bathroom was dirty and there seemed to be bloody marks. If I hadn't arrived so late, I probably would have changed hotels.”

“This property is right off of a freeway, but surprisingly it wasn't as loud as I thought it might be. Traffic dies down around 11pm. There is plenty of parking and I felt safe. It is close to lots of restaurants and the local mall, plus Padre Island is about 15-20 mins South. North Beach is about 20-25 mins in the opposite direction. The staff was decent, no complaints there. They were all business.”

“This home was a walk to Cole Park and easy access to ocean side. Abandoned and run down homes next door. For a house that sleeps 8, five plates seemed a bit under suppled. Fen ed yard was a plua for the pooch.”

“Overall we enjoyed our stay, It was cozy and smaller than expected but we didn't mind. The pool was nice and refreshing and you have a slight view of the beach. Property was clean and maintained. Its a very short drive to the Lexington and the little shops, you could walk but our gang was against it due to all the walking at the Lexington. Also a Short drive to HEB. Only thing was it smelled like mildew and we had to go buy Air fresheners to place throughout the unit because we all had headaches……
