“Such a cute motel! Appeared to be recently remodeled and has a fabulous retro vibe. We loved the proximity to downtown Lake City and local establishments including the cutest and delicious little diner Heidi’s Hug a Mug cafe. Further, we had a fabulous lake view we could enjoy on the patio in our colorful Adirondack chairs. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room clean. Our host was incredibly responsive as well. When we expressed a need for additional towels, they were promptly……

“This is an old style motel that has been renovated. The property and rooms are very clean. I loved being able to sit outside the room and look out over the lake and watch boats and eagles. Fellow travelers were friendly and did have pets. It was quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable. Best sleep I have had while traveling. Unfortunately it was too cold during my stay to use the pool but it was very clean. The contact at the property was easy to get ahold of if you had questions. ……

“Do you need a quaint, quiet, spot to spead the night! Mrs.Hippy has a place for you. Quiet town of Alma, WI. Resturants within walking distance, boutique to vist. You would enjoy this place. Great couple ownership, friendly and compassionate.”

“Had an amazing stay in the Penthouse. Way better than a hotel room after our son was recovering from his surgery. It’s very spacious, the kitchen has everything that you need, and the apartment is only 4 minutes from the hospital. The host is very easy to get along with and she responds to messages quickly. We will definitely stay there again when we are ever back in Rochester.”

“Clean and comfortable. The only complaint is the temperature extremes in the apartment. At times it was over 80 degrees and sometimes 70 or below. I brought in an instant read thermometer to check the temp. There is no thermostat to regulate temperature. We did not bring this to the attention of the owner while we were there. ”

“Everything was amazing, from Connie’s communication to cleanliness, cozy & comfortable! It was stocked with great extras…treats & bottled water, etc. Climbing all the stairs was a bit challenging with luggage, but once we got to the top it was “Well Worth It”!! ”
