Girls getaway

The house was just the perfect setup for our girls reunion weekend. Everything was clean and we had no issues checking in or out. I upgraded to have the pool heated, which was a hit with our older crowd. Minor house wear, but nothing that I had issue with. I would definitely stay again.

Not what they say it is

This place was a nightmare. The pool was cold and hot tub was cold from day one. Had to wait three days for it to be fixed. Owner threatened to cancel our reservation because we wanted it fixed and had to message him every day because it never stayed on. No toilet paper at all through the whole place. Never again with this owner. Windsor Hills is great just not this place

The pictures need to be updated, the furniture in the picture was not there. A lot of marks on the wall, missing barstools from the island. Paid for the pool to be heated and they turned it off, I called and I didn't get an answer why it was turned off. The ice machine doesn't work.

Great location, clean home...but lacking!

This place was fine for 8 mature golfers, but the amenities are lacking. A table set for 14, but a 5-cup coffee maker? A nice large island w/seating in the huge kitchen/living/dining area, but only one stool? The place sleeps 18 with 8 bedrooms, but the necessary cookware etc. to cook for a large group was pitiful. Invest a few hundred dollars and bring it up to speed and your guests will leave with a far better impression. Once booked you read about the limitations on additional items, such as cleaners, TP etc. But not one bath mat provided in any of the bathrooms? It was fine for us...but there are much better options out there. Won't be back...

Great Potential

This property is conveniently located and is laid out well. The opportunity here is cleanliness. Many of the beds weren't washed between guests. We found dried blood in 1, crumbs in another and black dirt in a 3rd. Stripped one of the beds and found the mattress had large dark stains on it. The floors were really dirty. We bought cleaner and scrubbed through with multiple pails of water 3 separate times but our socks remained black throughout the stay. Many doors and walls had black dirt on them. A deep cleaning would fix this home and make it amazing!! The cleaning company that the home owner is trusting to do what they pay them for (clean) should be fired. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Needs serious cleaning

The house could be so much better if the property manager or owner put a little effort into improving. For the amount of money they charge for cleaning the house should be spotless. I sent several messages to the property manager about issues I was having during my stay and nothing was ever done. The outlets in the kitchen along the counter don't work. The dishwasher latch for the detergent was broken. The pictures on line do not look the same. There wasa dust pan but no broom no mop and the vacuum didn't work. There wasn't any baking dishes or a decent size frying pan. The house is very spacious but just not clean. I don't even think the sheets on my bed were washed. The property managers response was that they were aware of the issues 😳 OK then why is it still an issue. Take 100.00 dollars go to the dollar store and buy some basic cleaning supplies and other home accessories.

Great Choice

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The furniture was in good condition and spacious overall. The photos were 90% current. The location was convenient to everywhere we needed to go including Wal-Mart and Publix. The appliances were up to date including the washing machine and dryer. It's a gated community with nice landscaping. We didn't have a chance to enjoy any of the resort amenities. The whole neighborhood lost power for about 45mins during the morning before office hours but the on call or after hours staff was swift and followed up with a text and phone call. I'd point out that I slept in the downstairs master bedroom and the AC unit and pool equipment were outside of my window. If you're a fairly light sleeper like me, it'll bother you for a bit. The homes are close together so when the neighbors decide to have a 2am pool party with "smoking", you'll feel invited unfortunately. We never located a broom, but the house keepers should make time to thoroughly sweep and mop the floors in the entire house, not just in spots. The water doesn't get as hot in the downstairs bathrooms and kitchen sink as it did for the upstairs bathrooms. Overall it was good for my family and we would return.

Great family gathering place. We enjoyed kids and grandkids in this home. It has three master suites, which was perfect. Two bedrooms were connected by Jack-and-Jill bathroom that worked well. It allowed my five year old grandson to be close to his parents while parents had privacy. All bedrooms have extremely close proximity to a bathroom. We loved that each bedroom was separated providing ultimate privacy. Two bedrooms downstairs so I can bring my parents next time! The dining room table and poolside table each seated 14 so we enjoyed family dinners inside and out. I brought solar tiki torches for additional ambiance by the pool. Two washers and two dryers made it easy to keep up with laundry during our 11 days. Communication was excellent. Past guests mention the furnishings are a bit worn but we actually saw this as a plus. We were able to truly relax and not worry about kids on a white couch (extremely comfortable!) Finally, the "community pool" inside the gated neighborhood was fun! We walked down for Pina Coladas and floats down the lazy River several times. We will definitely return! Thanks for an memorable and much needed vacation!
