“It was very interesting. It’s a big house with different rooms. We all share the kitchen, living room, laundry room, pool and deck area. Overall it was pretty good. One thing that did irritated go get it brought our dog and all you can hear is another dog barking 85% of the time.!”

“We are just crazy about Cypress House. The property is unique as are the proprietors. They are very helpful, funny, everyone of their dining suggestions were spot on., and as good as our meals were, breakfast was the best meal of the day. “The room was adequate for a short stay, but there were several things that could be improved. The bathroom needed attention, as the toilet felt loose and moved when used. While it was nice that laundry facilities were available on-site, guests need to bring quarters to use them. I also wish there had been an outdoor area or designated space to air-dry clothes, but that was not available. The room appeared to be vacuumed, but the carpet felt old and not particularly clean, making me wonder how……

“We've stayed here multiple times and have found it perfect for us. We get poolside rooms, because they are all 1st floor, ocean side can be 2nd floor (no elevator).You literally walk through a breeze way and your on the beach. Staff are friendly, restaurants are in walking distance and pool is kept clean. We highly recommend!”

“The location of this hotel is truly its biggest strength. About a block from the beach, with easy parking and one of the best hidden features they barely advertise: a dedicated pedestrian crossing and Marriott-managed boardwalk directly to the beach. This honestly made the stay special because the surrounding area is filled with private beach homes, and we initially worried about trespassing until we asked how beach access worked. “They were newly renovated nice updated clean rooms. No elevators which if you were an older person might find challenging to bring up luggage to your room!”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room had fresh paint but you could see the rust on the lights, microwave didn’t work the room didn’t look like it had been vacuumed, outside was very dirty with litter plants on the pool patio were dead.”

“I like that the hotel was close to the beach and had an outdoor pool for customers to use. However, there was a lot of construction plastic on the first floor, but no construction was being conducted at the time, making the hallway very dark compared to the second floor, where it was very well lit and bright in the hallway. In addition, there was some issue with the water. The water in the bathroom sink took several hours to drain out and the water pressure was low. Since it was a short stay of……
