“Friendly , pleasant and helpful staff at this hotel. We enjoyed the free organised activities within this hotel, for example the music bingo, which was fun. It would have been useful to be given the list of activities at reception on arrival as we didn't find out about the events until our second day at the hotel. There is even a cinema, All the staff were excellent and very helpful. The prices in the restaurants are a bit expensive especially the Asian inspired restaurant. We hope to return to……

“Looking for somewhere to stay while attending the Drovers Tryst Walking Festival, this was in a good central location, easy to walk into the town centre, with a supermarket for supplies just round the corner. Excellent value for money. I was welcomed and impressed with the room facilities and the little extras such as bottles of water in the fridge and bathrobes. Very good choice to eat at breakfast, and was offered an earlier breakfast time so I could meet the walk start times. Would……

“Probably the best B and B we have ever stayed in. 5 star quality with regards to everything. The property is beautiful and very comfortable. Everything is very high quality. Owners , Helen and Paul made us very welcome. Breakfast was great. Would have liked to have stayed longer. Very recommended.”
