“Started messaging host in January in app for a March stay. Never received a response. VRBO provided the host cell number who immediately started asking me about my payment. Could never answer any property specific questions. The day of check in, no check in instructions were provided and the host did not respond to the contacts made to them by VRBO. My trip was cancelled and refunded by VRBO. ”

"Here’s how you can put that together: First, the hotel has no Wi-Fi, which prevents me from using my laptop to handle tomorrow’s work. Second, the mattress still has a plastic cover on it that hasn’t been removed. It’s just a thin sheet on top, and when I lie down, it feels damp and clammy. Every time I turn over, the plastic makes a loud noise, which really affects my sleep quality."
