Port Orange Historic Hotel

"We will never be staying here again. We had a rental car, they give you a pice of paper they call a parking pass to put on your dash. Well when your driving around and come back its easy to forget to put it back on your dash. We forgot had our car parked for 45 min to come out and see our car had ben towed. The front desk was no help. Infact they couldnt even tell us the number for the tow lot. Also the kitchnet in the room says it comes with dished but there was not one dish to use. Defeats the purpuse in paying extra for a room with a kitchen when you cant even use it. "

"Wonderful view and recent refurbishment was nice, however elevator and water problems both requiring maintenance during our stay, caused inconvenience to customers. Room wasn’t clean especially floor and baseboards. I cleaned it myself after approaching front desk staff with another question and feeling like I was being a bother. I didn’t find front desk staff friendly at all. "

"Pool was beautiful and clean, so was my ocean front room. Staff was exceptional and very kind. Upon arriving I was able to get earlier checkin and was delighted by your helpful and professional assistance at front checkin desk. I felt very welcome at your hotel and will be back.. Thanks for another beautiful memory. "

"Hotel rooms where poorly kept and dirty"

"I booked a balcony street view. Arrived at the hotel and was greeted with smiling faces. Check in process was easy and smooth. Assigned a room and went to check it out. Walked in and room was beautiful. The balcony was nice especially with the sun beaming. Didn’t have breakfast but there was an awesome selection. The pool area was clean and the water was cool. Perfect view of the beach from the pool area. Easy walk to boardwalk, restaurants and stores. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. And I will come back for another stay. "

"The breakfast was amazing! Staff was great, even for those who didn’t speak English. Pool was a little on the cooler side-even though we were told it was heated. "
