「Wir hatten hier eine wirklich tolle Zeit. Sehr schönes Hotel mit viel Charme und super freundlichem Personal. Das Frühstück war klasse, der Pool Bereich sehr entspannt und für ein kleines Workout reicht der Fitnessraum vollkommen aus. Der Gemeinschaftsraum mit Billard, Schach und gemütlicher Couch ist ebenfalls ein Highlight. Dazu noch moderne Zimmer und super gemütliche Betten – was will man mehr?」

「We were forced to book this hotel last minute due to a cancelled flight and no other options. It was incredibly expensive and not worth the cost. The hotel is very old and outdated and the wifi does not work. We were able to check in late and the room was clean but I would not stay there again for that price. Definitely taking advantage of low inventory on the island」

「Near airport , few shop and restaurant. lobby have free wifi and if you reg the member,you can get the free a bottle of madeira wine,a bottle of water and fruit.No air-con and fan in room ,but we feel cold as the wind.Beautiful view .You can take bus to Funchal,around 15min and cost around 2Euro/way」

「Hotel proposant de belles prestations avec cependant quelques problèmes rencontrés inacceptables pour un 5 étoiles. Contrairement à l'annonce Expedia, l'hôtel ne propose pas de navette vers l'aéroport. Notre première chambre vue mer, avait des remontées d'odeurs nauséabondes par la salle de bain et la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. Les rideaux tirés par les personnels de ménage et la salle de bain allumée en permanence pour la ventilation auraient dû nous mettre la puce à l'oreille. Dommage...

「Cleanliness has room of improvement. There are ants in room and blood stain and hair were found in linen and towel. After telling the hotel staff, cleaning lady has made the room more tidy」
