“Having only stayed here for a brief period, arriving after midnight and departing in the morning, I must say the entire experience was truly delightful. The hotel, though rated as a three-star establishment, boasted a reception staff that provided a five-star level of service. The property itself was well-maintained, and the room was exceptionally spacious with lovely views. Furthermore, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was quite tasty.”

“Please note that this review is for the Hotel Solar do Bom Jesus in Santa Cruz - I was asked to move to this hotel when Hotel Amparo requested that I move to their sister hotel due to short-notice issues with the hotel. This was fine for me and it was handled very well by both hotels.”

“It seemed to have all that we needed, apart from a draining board, and was in a very good location. However we were surprised to find on returning to the flat on two nights that someone had taken up residence in the doorway.. He was very polite about it and caused no trouble. ”

“Spent 3 nights, good location only 11 mins from airport, in front of the Riu hotel. 3 bedrooms, one huge living room, fully equipped kitchen, terrace overlooking the sea and Riu. Small handy supermarket downstairs, parking in the building's garage but better have smaller than bigger car, it's a bit tight. Beach about 10 mins walking, I still swam in early March.
