「Adorable historic boutique hotel! Recently renovated with a fantastic location on the Duro river and a nice breakfast. Be aware… the property is NOT staffed after 10 pm. So check in earlier than that. We checked in late in the day and needed to wait outside for the staff member to come to the property. We were a little thrown off by that. 「The hotel was very cute and well kept. It only has stairs, so keep that in mind that you'll have to carry your luggage up flights of stairs. The room had a little kitchenette with a stove and fridge. The bathroom wad clean with great water pressure. The shower is tiny, so if you are a larger sized person or have mobility issues this may not be the place for you. The hotel is right on a busy/noisy street below. 「This is a really beautiful apartment in an excellent location (if you want to be near the river). It's on a cute, relatively quiet pedestrian-only street. I may have missed it in the instructions but, there's no sign in front of the building and it is very nondescript - you need to call by phone to have someone let you in. 」

「Lovely quirky boutique hotel right by the River Doura and in the middle of all of the restaurants and liveliness that area holds. Good continental breakfast included. Short walk via the lower bridge to visit Gaia and the wine cellars on the opposite side of the river. Perfect spot for our 5 day trip. Only drawback was lack of view from our room and some noise from the hotel and restaurants below.」

「Excellent location,beautiful view next to the river.Lots of restaurants.The apartments is very nice,the only inconvenience was that we have to wait until 5:30pm,the check in was supposed to be at 4:00pm. They leaved a bottle of wine but could not drink it because there was not wine opener; other than that I would recommended; location was perfect」
