“Very comfortable beds. Quiet with very friendly staff. Wasn’t too thrilled with the antique bathtub, too high to step into safely for seniors. ”

“Terrific renovation of two story motel. Great bedding and toiletries. Everything has a curated retro-hipster look. Spacious shower and bathroom, closet space, robes, plenty of charging outlets and a big TV, great if you use Apple. The only downside is noisy, bulky air conditioner. Be sure to ask for a ground floor room if you have a lot of luggage; second floor is accessible only by stairs. Nice outdoor seating and clubroom. We didn't take advantage of their food or bar offerings because……

“Motel was very clean, very nice staff, didn’t have any tissues left in the box, only about 3 pieces then empty. Sadly the room we were in the bed was not comfortable… sunk in the middle, could not get comfortable, did not get much sleep. ”

“The Appletree Inn newly aquired by Claire Collery, is a treasure! Claire, has taken every effort to make the Inn welcoming, elegant and comfortable for each guest who comes through their doors. The pool was clean and delightfully refreshing while looking out on the Berkshire Hills. The room in the lodge, was basic, but extremely clean and quiet. The main Inn had their "soft opening" of the bar last night, and it was just lovely, and a delicious breakfast with top notch Depot coffee awaited us……

“The swimming pool is green, and unusable. Front desk is just a phone call and they walk you thru it. Stairs could use a good cleaning. Otherwise very good stay. ”

“Each room section on the first floor had an outdoor deck looking out to the open sky, and an area to bring your grill to barbecue cook outdoors... The motel is located up a hill not too far from two truck stops—one that has a Dunkin Donuts—with easy access to Interstate 90-West and 90-East. West Stockbridge, MA is a short drive away—crossing the New York State border into Massachusetts on Routes 41 and 102... Before you cross over into Massachusetts there is a local winery and tasting room. West……
