“Excellent location for walking into Chester. Fantastic breakfast. Great service. Very clean, well laid out room.”

“Good location, grounds and facilities. But for the price and a 5* hotel they were a few niggles such as the bathroom needed some bleach around the shower and sink plug hole ect. For the luxury they're advetising deep cleaning should be an obvious but didnt looked like it had been done. And masses of cobwebs around the doors to get into rooms. ”

“Wonderful, the staff were immediately helpful and relaxed. We were allowed into our room early, got a parking space and it was flawless. The breakfast was perfect, our stay perfect and I would come again. We only had 4 teabags in the room so had to buy some the second day but its hardly a big issue. Amazing hotel, friendly staff and fabulous break...thank you. It was appreciated. ”

“Moxy is a very cool hotel with a friendly approach! We found that last time we stayed in moxy Chester the staff gave us more information about the town / etc ! Which was really nice! We paid for the breakfast and decided to have it later to avoid the business people, however they stop refilling some items… it is our 3rd time here ! And we really like the town & the hotel !! The location is great & friendly staff & comfortable room’s modern & minimalist! We love it! ”

“Great little hotel. Cheap enough for a short break. A 10 minute drive from the centre or Chester. Clean communal areas and rooms. Comfortable beds with clean, crisp bedding. Big TV, iron, ironing board, hairdryer and fan (this was needed as the room was so hot) in the room, as well as a kettle and tea and coffee. Nice smelling soap in the bathroom and a good selection of towels. Friendly staff. The only issue I had was not being able to order room service via the QR code provided in the room. I……

“The staff at reception are so kind and personable. The room we booked was spacious and clean. It is a bit dated in areas but nothing you wouldn’t expect for such an old building. Bed was comfortable and coffee/tea tray was lovely. Walkable to every attraction you would want to see, as well as shopping and restaurants. Recommend! ”

“Great location and great breakfast. But, the room was very noisy! (Room no.8) Thumping music from about 3 until 10/11pm - could hear every word of every song! And the drainage system in the shower is clearly not fit for purpose! Again, excessively loud gurgling whenever any other room used their shower/toilet. ”
