“The room we were given smelled of urine, lacked proper lighting and was generally unpleasant. We were told the hotel was completely booked and no other room was available. We talked with some relatives in the area and explained the situation with the room and they extended an invitation to stay with them. “Location was perfect for our needs and there’s a very nice walking path & park nearby, including pickleball courts. We had a larger room with 2 queen beds, which were comfortable. Bathroom drains were slow - not pleasant while showering. We stayed 3 nights and never received maid service, just a towel exchange after the first night. Breakfast was as expected. I would stay again, going in with the lower expectations & understanding that I may have to make the bed & reuse towels.”

“Compared to a couple of other motels, we have previously stayed in in that neighborhood, Microtel had Better beds and breakfast. Pillows and linens were excellent, breakfast included an omelette maker with all the fixings. Our double room actually had two TVs and a large mini fridge.”
