“Nice views from rooms that face the river. I have stayed here dozens of times and it's always been pleasant. The parking seems safe, the resturant is decent. The hotel is close to old Town area. Not many choices of hotels in the area, and even fewer that are quality. The staff are very friendly.”

“This charming motel has a 50’s vibe! Rooms are beautiful and well appointed with every little detail. The views of the St. Clair River are amazing! The two inside window barrel chairs, along with your own outside patio chairs secure your views of the grand Port Huron freighters coming up river headed to Detroit. Don’t pass up a chance to stay here or miss this secluded charming river town.”

“Breakfast was a little disappointing , just waffles or cereal in toast , no bagels”

“I did not get the king bed I booked for. Got a wheelchair room instead with 2 beds. The shower was leaking at the wall hookup. They did fix that. There were some ants in the bathroom sink area. I did report that. There was a problem with the pool room. It was extremely hot and heavily clorinated. They did get that fixed while we were there. My kids had rooms that were fine so that was good. When I booked the 3 rooms it said the 2 kings were available. Not sure what happened.”

“A very basic stay. No issues, comfortable beds, decent breakfast and friendly staff”

“The staff and management were awesome! The breakfast was excellent and well laid out. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Just a couple of things that would have made our stay perfect was that our room window was so filmed over outside from lime/scaling we couldn't see out. Also, the hotel is not on a direct road access, and is difficult to find it (possibly a little more signage is needed on the entrance/exit roads?) Other than that we were very happy with our stay : )”

“Nice one night stay but the day shift check in lady (blonde hair ) was very unfriendly and rude!”

“Clean rooms. Staff will do anything to make your stay safe and comfortable. Breakfast is fine for a quick bite before heading out. My one odd note is the floors in the rooms are tile. Bring along slides or other shoes as it feel icky. Probably just me!”

“Nice little place to stay with whatever you want to do beach access is great, lounge relax and go into Caseville or Port Austin or hanging out we went to Rib Stock Festival that was delicious and fun in Caseville and we went to Port Austin for porch fest, lots of music and fun. In Caseville Beachy’s is a must stop and Brew Moon coffee shop is also a good spot.”

“Rooms were lovely and fresh....newly remodeled . Issue with tiny ants in bathroom on floor Tea towel would have been nice Mats a doors due to snowy boots No sheets if you were to use couch Bedroom TV didn't work....wasn't connected Bed so compfy .Area safe and quiet Area ”

“Enjoyed the quiet and all the wildlife. Saw a few bucks and a lot of doe and a red tailed hawk greeted us in the driveway. Quite a few rabbits and pheasants. If you like the outdoors this is a perfect little esvape”
