“My best friend & I brought our nine year old grandsons here. As stated above, everything was fantastic, from meeting Dona' s Mom, "Mrs. A", upon our arrival to the wonderful animal tour given by Dona, complete with the boys being able to feed some of the animals, to the perfect evening with a fire, and star viewing. Dona & her Mom went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. We made great memories here and look forward to our next time we can come again!”

“Dona is a PROFESSIONAL exotic animal steward. They are not her “pets” though she loves them all. They were surrendered to her and her family by various people who bought them through exotic pet dealers. Do not go here expecting to hold a lemur or play with a fox. It’s an absolutely gorgeous place and an honor just to see the incredible animals she cares for. The apartment is just perfect for a nice little stay and taste of farm life”

“We stayed for a week at the end of December. The house was very nice and updated. The pool was heated which was great because there was some cooler days while we were there. The location to restaurant and grocery stores was nice. The neighborhood was okay but seemed a bit run down but we had no issues with anyone during our stay. Overall 5/5 if looking at staying in the area”

“My husband and I were looking for a quiet weekend trip, and this was the perfect place for it. We spent the days exploring Brooksville and the surrounding areas, and we spent the evenings and nights at this beautiful cottage. The space was clean, cozy, and very welcoming. Our favorite parts were relaxing in the chairs behind the barn and also watching the chickens wander around. It truly felt like an escape!”

“This was our second week-long stay at the lovely Dreamcatcher Cottage. The Cottage was just as expected: clean, comfortable, and peaceful, with considerate and thoughtful hosts nearby if needed to support our stay. We come to this area primarily to ride the Withlacoochie Trail on our tandem, and it is a short ride from the home to the Trail, about a half-mile. A shed is provided for bicycle storage. We just settle in to the home with our groceries and enjoy our rides, cooking our meals and……

“We stayed at the Locke Inn for my cousins wedding and it was perfect for our large family! It was walkable to down town dade city and less than a 4 min walk to The Venue, where they got married! It was fully stocked with extra toiletries, water, towels, for our big group. Loved having so many bathrooms and we didn't feel like we were on top of one another. We loved all of the small details that were added about the history of the place and the decor was top notch. My only suggestion would be……

“They legit did everything they could to make our stay as awesome as possible and they did not fail! We loved it and will definitely be back. Between a hurricane messing up plans and myself booking the wrong dates afterwards. They certainly fixed my own mess that I made lol.”

“Our hosts were the best ones we ever had very kind good bearted people that were always helpful and had excellent communication with us no matter what time of day they were very attentive i would go their spot over and over again. The outdoor time was great i cant even explain how much of a good experience we had try for urself”

“We wanted to take a few days and escape from the rat race of Pinellas County. Unfortunately, during the months of February-March, this area of Florida is packed with Snowbirds, Spring training fans, and early Spring breakers. Finding an affordable escape is not easy. We were fortunate to find this location in Hernando county that was quiet, affordable, and away from it all. The hosts were helpful and interested in our enjoying our stay. We would definitely like to stay here again!”

“This property was perfect for our group!!! It was clean, comfortable and we enjoyed coffee by the river each morning! Even saw an alligator swim by on one occasion. It rained pretty hard one night and we were concerned our car would get stuck at first, but it ended up being no problem. I would highly recommend this property as a wonderful getaway with plenty of privacy, but close enough for anything you need.”

“This place was a great place to stay, we had such a relaxing time and the kids had plenty to do. There were kayaks to use and we went fishing and relaxed by the fire. They even set up a projector outside and they had popcorn and which was a huge hit with the kids. Only con I would say was the camper could have been a little bit cleaner and I would say to bring your own blankets and sheets. Overall, we had a great time and Sandra was so responsive and helpful for whatever we needed.”

“A fine property. Need to slightly improve some things. Only one small bar of low quality soap in one bathroom. There were two of us staying 3 days. Should be 2 bars in each bathroom; one at tub and one at wash basin. No Kleenex in bathrooms. Unable to control thermostat. Guest should have full control of temperature settings.”

“The renovations are beautiful, I was place on a new renovated room and its was amazing. Everything look so elegance and clean. The staff was extremely friendly, and it was an amazing and relax experience.”
