House not well maintained

The house had a very musty smell as though it had been closed up for a long time. The lawn was long and needed mowing. There was no powder or tablets for the dishwasher and the dish brush was black with mould. There was not enough toilet paper to last for our stay. The outdoor furniture was tired and dirty.

Great location and view - but won’t stay again.

Rarely do I need to write a negative review. Unfortunately this house is in need of attention and a very good clean. We spent considerable time on arrival doing basic cleaning, like sweeping floors and wiping down surfaces. cleaning the bbq, and cleaning the outside table chairs. The outdoor space is what we were looking forward to but it all had to be swept and cleaned. The wicker table has cracked wicker around the top and the cushions are very stained. The lounges were dirty, cushions stained, and pillows etc very basic quality. For the price, and having to supply your own linen, this house is not good value for money. It wouldn’t take a lot to restore this property to a good holiday home. Although the annex room would be very hot in summer and cold in winter, with thin quilts. There was a fan but it was too dirty to use.

Perfect Location

The place is in the perfect location; within a minutes walk away from a convenience store and a few minutes drive from the beaches and a shopping centre. The house itself is suitable for large groups of friends or families, with there being plenty of clean amenities and space for everyone to relax in. Holiday Collections have been pleasant and efficient to work with, where most details regarding staying at the place clearly outlined in their email and in little notes around the house. We look forward to visiting again, thanks Holiday Collection!

We enjoyed a great weekend in this beautiful house. Very well furnished with a stunning backyard for the whole family to enjoy. Very accommodating and no fuss service. Only complaint was that we didn't book for longer. Thank you for the stay !!

Perfect Location

Great location for a relaxing holiday. Perfect for our purposes which was to attend our daughter's wedding on the Reserve at Erowal Bay further along Naval Parade. The property is lovely but could do with a little bit of refurbishment. Excellent service from property manager when the television set would not work. I would definitely go there again.
