“Everything was great, very clean, the staff were super friendly, and the ocean view and the pool eve thing was beautiful we enjoyed our vacation. However, I do feel the hotel needs more lighting in the area and some minor repairs to the property. Otherwise, everything was perfect. “The Grand Roatan defintely had the feel of a 5-star resort, but what impressed me the most was the staff. The front desk reached out multiple times throughout my stay to see that my needs were met, and everyone I met remembered my name after our first encounter which was impressive.
Marine life is abundant as soon as you walk into the ocean. We paid for a night snorkel on the other side of the island, but honestly, everything you'd want to see is right in front of the property. Very impressive……

“I really wanted to love this property because the location is beautiful, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing.
We stayed here from June 16–23 with a group of seven. During our stay, our section of the property experienced repeated power outages while other areas of the hotel still had electricity. We also went two nights without hot water.
We found insects in our room during our stay. I understand that this is a tropical destination and seeing an occasional bug is expected, but……

“If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay.”

“Beautiful beach with a restaurant and bar. Additional restaurant on the property called wikki grill. Very tasty and cool atmosphere.
The room was big. We liked the walk on closet. Good ac as well
My only complaint was the mattress was not comfortable. There was a big lump right where you lie and the sides of the bed tapered so you feel like you will roll off. Otherwise the place was amazing”

“We stayed on a beachfront room, but unfortunately, it was situated right in front of the bar.
So early in the morning, you could hear the staff talking loudly and laughing. I think that in this type of properties, the staff should more quiet, and let the guests have a more quiet vacation.
The same happened while having breakfast, the staff communicates with each other by talking loud at a distance, which should not be the case.
Otherwise, the hotel was very nice, very clean, very well……
