"The room itself was very nice, and it worked well for our family of 4. Everything is new, and the space is stylishly designed, which is sometimes hard to find in smaller towns in Japan. The challenge is the property is a 10-15 minute walk, along a main road, to any restaurant or cafe, etc. There's a 7-11 nearby, but apart from that, you're alongside a busy road and a highway off-ramp ... and not much else. If you have a car, this is no issue. But for us, with two young kids, and of course...

"The property itself was comfortable and clean but the reality is the person who owns this place is.......weird and stuck in his ways Have your wits about you when dealing with this guy it came across like i was a walking ATM for him Kinugawaonsen is a beautiful place and has provided many epic memories but as mentioned keep Yukka at arms length and you will be ok 👌✌️"
