"A more upscale experience and incredibly convenient for travellers, located right inside Kyoto Station — perfect if you’re catching an early Shinkansen or arriving late. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with professional and attentive staff. The breakfast was excellent, and the cooks even made a custom soft-boiled egg on request, which was a nice touch. There are several dining options within the hotel, though they’re on the pricier side, and countless others just steps away in and around the station. A great mix of comfort, service, and unbeatable location."

"Lovely new hotel, very clean, rooms are lovely and modern with a nice separate bathtub and shower. The highlight of this hotel was definitely their phenomenal breakfast/brunch buffet, worth ordering especially if traveling with older western food oriented types as they will be happy too for once. ;-) The snack room was a nice in the lobby for coffee and tea outside of mealtime. Perfect location by train station, shops and restaurants. Could walk 5 minutes to station and take train or subway to many locations in Kyoto. "

"This hotel is one of my favorite globally. From the friendly reception upon arriving to how relaxing the room felt after putting in 18km walking around for the day The Onsen here is what really got me. Went every day and it was the greatest way to start the day. I thought the location was somewhat central to what we visited, and close to rail for Kyoto or further. We only ate the breakfast the one day. It was good but 3000 yen per person, so plan accordingly. Book your stay here while in Kyoto and you will be pleased with your accommodations. "

"The hotel was right across from the train station. So easy to get around. It was clean and the staff was very courteous. The room was small but had every amenity I could think of, including pajamas and slippers. Highly recommend this hotel."
