“The owners, Chris and Gretchen, are absolutely wonderful! The property is incredibly charming and feels like you’re in the European countryside. I wish I had been able to stay more than one night and I cannot wait to return for a longer visit!”

“It's a very nice hotel if you need an out of the way place to camp out while exploring Portland and the southeastern corner of Washington state. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. It's almost equidistant to Portland and Astoria plus the highway the hotel is on directly connects to both cities.”

“Great place! Located in a small town, limited dining after 9PM. The food we did get (Blue Saloon & Grill) was great! The staff were a little short but had a dog so it made up for it. Beds were nice and the entire place was pretty quiet. The shower’s water pressure was EXTREME. It definitely got you clean, but it sounded like a fire hose. Overall a really great find for the price! ”

“Great property and half the rooms have a view of the Columbia River close up. Shopping is across the freeway but only 3 minutes away in Hood River. White Salmon on the Washington side is just across the bridge and Trout Lane and Mt. Adam’s is a short drive away. ”
